Expert Bio
Shruti Samala is a former Staff Assistant Research Intern for the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center's Environmental Change and Security Program. She graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies and Psychology from Wellesley College, where she completed a senior thesis on the relationship between Hindu nationalist ideology and conceptions of nature in the Indian context. Prior to joining ECSP, Shruti interned at the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center’s Asia Program, the Wellesley College Office of Sustainability, and Environment Support Group. Her research interests include climate justice, political ecology, and global environmental conflict and resolutions.
