Rachel Lee is a staff assistant intern for the Mexico Institute. She holds a bachelor's degree in global studies with a minor in sustainability from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. She is also a recent graduate from American University and the University for Peace where she earned a dual master's degree in international affairs and sustainable development, respectively. Her academic background in climate policy — coupled with her professional experience in editorial work — has brought her to the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center to further hone her research, writing, and editing skills.
Born and raised in Arizona, Rachel has always deeply cherished her region's unique landscape. At the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center, she is interested in exploring how the U.S. and Mexico can collaborate on building resilience in the context of their shared environmental challenges, specifically regarding the Colorado River.
