Melissa is a Program Assistant in the Office of Congressional Relations where she supports the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center's Capitol Hill strategy and manages logistics for congressional briefings, staff delegations, and educational foreign policy programs. Before joining the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center, Melissa was a legislative and policy intern with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where she supported the Europe & Public Diplomacy portfolio and the State Department Management portfolio. She also worked as a research assistant at the Research on International Policy Implementation Lab, where she collected and coded data relevant to United Nations peacekeeping and peacebuilding operations.
Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Global Governance, Politics, and Security with a concentration in global security from American University School of International Service. She earned her B.A. with specialized honors in International Relations and French from Drew University.
