Cheri Ayers is a former Communications Coordinator with the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center Africa Program and where she served as the copyeditor of the Africa Up Close blog and project lead for Africa Program's publications including Africa: Year in Review. She obtained a Master of Mass Communications from Louisiana State University with an emphasis in Strategic Communications. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Communications (Art) from the University of Southern Mississippi. Cheri’s multifaceted experience as a creative includes design, advertising, social media management, and copywriting. Her inspiration as a creative is to promote awareness about Africa, namely its innovations in the art, design, and digital content spheres, globally.
