Latin America Program 2025 Ðǿմ«Ã½ Awards Gala

Since 1998, the Woodrow Ðǿմ«Ã½ International Center for Scholars has recognized leaders who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life of others with the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Awards. 

At a gala dinner on December 4, 2025, in Miami, Florida, the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Center and its Latin America Program and Brazil Institute will honor outstanding individuals with the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Award for Corporate Citizenship and the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Award for Public Service. 

Former recipients of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Award for Corporate Citizenship include Lorenzo Mendoza, of Empresas Polar; Stanley Motta, of Copa Airlines; Ricardo Poma, of Grupo Poma; Woods Staton, of Arcos Dorados; Paula Santilli, CEO for Latin America at PepsiCo; and David Vélez, CEO of Nubank. Recipients of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Award for Public Service include former Presidents Fernando Henrique Cardoso of Brazil and Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia, President Irfaan Ali of Guyana, and Ecuadorian Attorney General Diana Salazar.
